Message from a Bottle

Namaste,
today's post means a lot to me. As a therapist and healer- and not to forget a daughter- I have worked a lot with guilt in mothers. Many new mother's who were not able to breastfeed have come to me to seek healing. Most mothers usually feel deeply guilty, sad and with a sense of failure when they cannot breast feed for various reasons. I have also over the past months seen sadness or a sense of melancholy in mother's eyes who did breastfeed and then went over to use a bottle.

I guess there is no debate about the infinite goodness of breast feeding- and really no other blog is needed to look into that. My journey with Noah has guided me to supplement with a bottle- and when he finally started enjoying it-bang- guilt came up and I found myself trying to justify and analyse why I am doing this and if I should fully breastfeed again!

THANKS GOD for the great gift of meditation as once again it has given me such deep insights on this topic, which I am now sharing with you. So here my take on it:

The biggest challenge about feeding the bottle is to stay fully connected and present with your baby. I was told in meditation that it is that total presence and connection which allows a transmission of information between you and your child. It is so easy to even let the baby hold his/ her own bottle or read something alongside, or have a conversation or get someone else to give a quick feed- everything becomes quick.

So the trick is to connect deeply with your baby whilst feeding, you can breath with your baby, you can visualize your hearts connecting, love surrounding you- anything that helps you to stay in the moment. Also when you fully connect and YOU hold the bottle, the energy that your body produces is transmitted into the bottle- which comes very close to the information transmitted via
breast milk.

I have called this blog Messages in a Bottle as I am sure most of you have heard about the amazing research Masao Emoto on how water reflects our consciousness, called Messages from the water. His findings are profound and if you have not yet looked into it, here the link http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/e_ome_home.html. Also I suggest to google him under images- the crystals are beautiful! You will now even better understand where I am coming from- and of course, knowing that you can change the vibration of water gives you much room to play with when preparing a bottle- you can chant, pray, sing, talk into your baby's bottle (by the way you should do that with your own food as well and especially when breastfeeding too) and really creating a supercharged divine meal for her/ him. Of course when your child grows you can do that before the mail together with her/ him.
If you have a hard day and cannot switch off when feeding I suggest you look into my previous post and work with the violet flame.

NOW- what to do when you have to go to work or are busy with other children and dad or a babysitter is giving the bottle? It would help if you as a mother could prepare the bottle and just sit with it, holding it with both hands so that your energy can go into it, otherwise the person who feeds could do something like a distance healing and as we are all one tune into you. This can easily happen by repeating your name, visualising you etc.

I personally find Theta Healing and Reiki such divine gifts of BEING with Noah, ENJOYING the moment with him and OVERCOMING obstacles that I have decided to offer all parents a 10% discount on my teachings- for details please visit my webpage: http://juliajeremiah.com/

Bright Loving Blessings to You and Your Family
